Our Model

A partnership approach that turns underutilized land into community assets while maintaining the church's ownership of the land.

The Opportunity

Many churches in Florida own land that is underutilized—large parking lots, vacant fields, or aging buildings. At the same time, their communities are facing a severe shortage of affordable housing.

The Live Local Act provides incentives and streamlined approval processes for affordable housing on commercially zoned land, making it easier than ever for faith-based organizations to develop their property.

How We Partner

01

Feasibility & Vision

We work with church leadership to assess the property, understand the church's vision, and determine the financial feasibility of a housing project.

02

Development & Financing

Sanctum Housing handles the complex pre-development process, including zoning, design, and securing financing through tax credits, grants, and private investment.

03

Construction & Lease-Up

We oversee construction to ensure high-quality, sustainable building. Once complete, we manage the lease-up process to welcome families home.

04

Asset Management & Ministry

The church retains ownership of the land (through a long-term ground lease) and receives ongoing revenue. We manage the property, allowing the church to focus on ministry to the new residents.
